Baldni is a mining planet in the Appearence owned by the Andur Empire. I has a population of around 390 million due to its toxic atmosphere. Major settlements include the city of Dikchoa (considered the capital) and the mining facility of Pronto (in which around two million civilians work). Oxygen and liquids are the most commmon imports from other Andur planets due to the fact that they are basically inachievable outside the inhabited, shielded domes in which everyone resides. Food is less so, as it can be synthesized using technology from some minerals found on the planet. In fact, food synthesis on Balni accounts for around 46% of the food synthesis of all Andur, despite the fact that the planet only holds 0.46% of the civilization's population.
Over 90% of minerals mined on the planets are exported to all other Andurian planets. Most notable of them are very refined common ores such as iron and aluminium.
